Our Commitment
Fullerton Financial Planning is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Many of the families we serve are planning for and living in retirement, and we believe clear, usable access to financial information should not depend on ability, age, or the technology you use. Accessibility is part of how we design, build, and review this website — not an afterthought.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG is the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most of the website meets the standard, and we are actively working on the remaining items described under "Known Limitations" below.
Measures We Take
Accessibility is built into this website's design system and reviewed as part of our development process. Measures include:
- Keyboard access. The website, including the navigation menu, can be operated with a keyboard. The site menu manages focus correctly — it traps focus while open, closes with the Escape key, and returns focus to where you left off.
- Screen reader support. Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, images carry text alternatives, and forms have visible labels. Form confirmations and error messages are announced to assistive technology.
- Readable text. Body text is sized and spaced for comfortable reading, with color contrast that meets or exceeds the WCAG minimums throughout the site's text content.
- Reduced motion. Every animation on the website respects your operating system's "reduce motion" setting; content is never hidden behind an animation.
- Resilience. Content remains visible and forms remain labeled even when scripts fail to load, and pages work at mobile, tablet, and desktop sizes without horizontal scrolling.
- Ongoing review. We audit the website against WCAG criteria as part of our design and release process, most recently in July 2026, and we review this statement at least annually.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations, and we are working to address them:
- Button color contrast. Some call-to-action buttons use our brand gold with white text, which falls below the WCAG minimum contrast ratio. The surrounding context and button size are designed to preserve readability while we evaluate alternatives.
- Third-party services. Some services linked from this website — such as the client portal and secure file transfer tools — are operated by third parties, and we cannot fully control their accessibility. If you have difficulty using a linked service, contact us and we will help you complete your task another way.
- Documents. Some downloadable documents (such as PDFs) provided by third parties may not be fully accessible. If you encounter a document you cannot use, contact us and we will provide the information in an accessible format.
Feedback and Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience an accessibility barrier, or if you need information from this website in an alternative format, please contact us using the information at the bottom of this page — by phone or by email — and include the web address (URL) of the page and a description of the problem.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve barriers as quickly as we reasonably can. Nothing on this website is available only online: if you cannot access something here, our team will gladly assist you by phone, by mail, or in person at any of our offices.
About This Statement
This statement was prepared based on an internal accessibility audit of this website against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, most recently performed in July 2026. We review and update this statement at least annually, and whenever the website changes in ways that affect accessibility.
